Best of Peer Award

Kortfilmfestival Leuven is niet alleen een festival voor het grote publiek, maar ook een ontmoetingsplaats voor regisseurs. En die zijn natuurlijk bijzonder geïnteresseerd in elkaars werk. Zo ontstond twee jaar geleden de Peer Award, een prijs die deelnemende regisseurs aan hun collega’s (of 'peers’) geven. De zes films die vorig jaar genomineerd werden, kan je nu bekijken, met als afsluiter de film die uiteindelijk de winnaar werd.

Kortfilmfestival Leuven is not only a festival for a film loving audience, but also a meeting point for directors. And they are particularly interested in each other's work. This is why, two years ago, the Peer Award was introduced, an award participating directors give to their peers. This programme includes the six films that were nominated last year, closing with the film that eventually won the award.

Wie wint de Peer Award 2022? 

Tijdens het festival beslissen de deelnemende regisseurs wie van hun collega’s de Peer Award het meest verdient. Zaterdag 10 december worden de zes genomineerde kandidaten vertoond tijdens een eenmalige publieke vertoning. Welke film uiteindelijk wint, wordt onthuld tijdens de prijsuitreiking op de slotavond.

Throughout the festival, participating directors will decide which of their peers is most worthy of the 2022 Peer Award. On Saturday 10 December, the six nominees will be screened at a one-off public screening. Which film ultimately wins will be revealed at the award ceremony.
